Clatsop Cares Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, (CCF) is created as the fundraising arm of the Clatsop Care Health District (CCHD)

Anita Schacher Retires

(CCHD) Founder and Director, Anita Schacher, retires after 35 years of dedicated service to our community

2015
Inactivity

CCHD falls into a period of poor management and the Foundation is no longer active

2018
Aiden Health Services Hired

CCHD Board of Directors hires Aiden Health Services to restore its good name and financial standing

2023
Steering Committee Formed

CCFoundation steering committee is formed by the District  Board of Directors 

2025
Non-Profit Status

With a full board of Officers, CCFoundation non-profit Status is reinstated and revitalization efforts begin

Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting our  mission of ensuring that our community is provided with state-of-the-art facilities and services under the Clatsop Care Center Health District (CCCHD), established “by the community, for the community” serving our residents for nearly 50 years!
