CCF facilitates meaningful giving through estate planning, endowments, and grants to ensure quality and state-of-the-art care going beyond industry standard for our Health District. We are committed to providing a professional experience by developing partnerships and resources that support these goals.

Through educational outreach, we seek to support our aging population, informing our community of how they can be involved in the ongoing history of our unique Health District, established “by the community, for the community” and serving Clatsop county for nearly 50 years!

FutureProjects
Clatsop Care Center and Rehabilitation Built in 1928, our historic flagship building in Astoria, Oregon, has served the local healthcare community with distinction for nearly a century!
Since 1978, Clatsop Care Center has served as the District’s primary skilled nursing and long-term care facility. Because the current infrastructure can no longer support modern healthcare technology, we are preparing to replace it with a state-of-the-art, one-story medical facility on Young’s Bay, adjacent to Clatsop Retirement Village to ensure the highest quality of healthcare and rehabilitation services for our aging population.
CCCHD is approaching final stages of planning and permitting and look forward to ground-breaking, anticipated in 2027!

💛Clatsop Retirement Village is requesting funding for installation of a new art center near the third floor atrium for their distinguished residents! The Foundation is currently seeking to fully fund this and other projects associated with their full remodel that’s being planned in conjunction with construction of the new Care Center in 2027.

Clatsop Memory Community Care has requested funding to refurbish a courtyard to accommodate their residents with a safe and protected outdoor living space. The facility is beautifully situated around a generous space that’s been used for this purpose since they were established in 2014. We invite our valued Donors to participate in this very worthwhile project as we are seeking to fully fund this essential PNW need for their residents in 2026!

Clatsop In-Home Care requests funding for their clients’ basic safety needs. Equipping homes with supplies to handle an emergency helps to ensure that caregivers and clients, alike, will be safe and prepared. Clatsop Cares Foundation is actively seeking to fulfill this vitally important need that Medicare and insurance benefits don’t cover. Will you join us today in making a difference to keep our caregivers equipped and their In-Home clients safe at home?
